Jenna Chandler-Ward

Jenna is a seasoned equity consultant who has partnered with over 150 institutions across the U.S.,  to advance racial literacy, antiracist teaching, and white identity development.

She is the Co-Author of the book, Learning and Teaching While White (Routledge, 2024) and the Co-Founder of the Teaching While White podcast and platform. With more than 20 years of experience in education—from non-profits and higher education to middle school classrooms, Jenna brings a grounded, practical perspective to her work with educators. She is also a founder and co-director of the Multicultural Teaching Institute, and leads equity-focused professional development for teachers and school leaders. Currently, Jenna resides on the ancestral lands of the Nahaganset and Wampanoag peoples. She holds an M.Ed. from Pepperdine University and a B.A. from Marlboro College.
