naomi warren
naomi warren is a teacher and a learner. She is currently the school social worker at Maplewood Richmond Heights Middle/High School in St. Louis.
naomi has been working in the field of social justice since graduating from Wellesley College in 2002. During her graduate program in social work and law at Washington University in St. Louis, she spent time in Ghana, South Africa, and Montgomery, Alabama as an intern with the Southern Poverty Law Center.
After completing her graduate program, naomi spent over two years in Ann Arbor, Michigan facilitating an afterschool intergroup dialogue program at four high schools and working with the University of Michigan's Program on Intergroup Relations (IGR). She came back to St. Louis in 2011, practiced immigration law for two years, and then returned to education as a high school social worker.
In addition to supporting students and families, naomi facilitates equity work through Students for Social Justice at MRH. A former participant in The Equity Exchange, she was honored to facilitate the inaugural Voices for Change Exchange in 2025.
Working with high school students is naomi's passion. She lives in St. Louis City with her partner and their two children.
