His career includes secondary school and district administration, as well as a classroom teacher for students who have experienced significant trauma.  He has also served as a school board member and city councilman in several St. Louis communities.  Pablo earned a bachelor’s degree in special education followed by his master’s degree as a reading specialist.  Both degrees were obtained from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Pablo earned an additional master’s degree in school administration and an education specialist degree focused on district administration from Missouri Baptist University.  Pablo has supported and led equity work throughout his career and in the community with both adult learners and young learners.  Pablo leads with the belief found in Lerone Bennett Jr.’s quote, “An educator in a system of oppression is either a revolutionary or an oppressor.”
